UPDATE: Cancel that on buying a separate battery. Just got the green light from they guy building my pedicab that using a 30ah 48v to 12v converter will work just fine.
Buying this one. It's much more well built than the other crap on Amazon:

Appreciate everyone's help with all this. The Polk 3 way 6x9's with the Kenwood amp are bumping. Not much draw on my battery either.
