Good for you! Klaus looks like he could be one of my cousins on my German (Koch) side. I also have a pair of his Khartago monos and I’m quite happy with them.

My understanding is that someone sent them in for an upgrade but decided to bump up his/her game via trading them in instead. So they’re pimped our Stratos monoblocks in Khartago cases.
Klaus describes them as having “some of the SE board upgrades, such as some military spec resistors, Nichicon Muse SE's, silver micas, SYMPHONIC LINE caps on-board !!!, Groneberg TS Premium output cables, bigger 400 VA transformers, and upgraded connectors.”
And there’s this - I’d asked him to sign them so I knew he was going to do that. I didn’t know until I got there that he also had put a personalized name plate on them. A bit over the top, IMHO, but “MR. Stretch Ledford” does have a pretty good ring to it.

I like Odyssey gear, enjoying a Stratos Extreme now. Burn in is a long process on these amps when new, good 300 or so hours! And they sound best left on, after 3 days of being on they level off.- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -

I saw this Odyssey Kismet Reference Amplifier on Tmraudio yesterday ($1260). I like cars similar to that color, but don't know about an amp. I've become interested in Odyssey since @VR3 posted several items. That Klaus guy is interesting.

I told TMR Audio months ago that isn't a Kismet amp... but whatever. Uses standard odyssey caps. Its more like a "glass ceiling" Stratos. Also, on @stretchl amps, you can see a Kismet plate on the back, no such wonder on this amp either.

That blue one is either an older model or a plain Stratos. That transformer is the lesser of the 3, it's missing 4 caps (missing in that there could be 4 more installed of that size)
It does have the black board with the better diodes installed and the Groneberg cable with what look like the WBT speaker terminals. Not a bad unit at all but as VR3 mentioned - not Kismet. But it looks like it's in very good condition.
I'm guessing a call to Klaus and he'd build you a new one for about that price with the same stuff in it.
I've also purchased Odyssey gear and had it shipped directly to Klaus (after conversation with him) for checkup and possible upgrades.
That new gray transformer is also part of the Kismet mix.Aaron
