Please allow me to introduce myself

I was referred here by another member. I have only a modest 2 channel system of recent Marantz manufacture and two sets of vintage Polk speakers: SDA 2 (circa 1985 a/k/a “early version”) and SDA 2A (circa 1989). I am using the SDA 2A’s which work well and sound great. Reading here, I have certainly learned some things about the SDA2A. The SDA 2’s, however, have been problematic and I’d like to get them working properly again. I have lots of questions; I hope you can help. I apologize in advance: I am sorry that I have nothing to contribute to the forum; but I am learning. Thanks, Lou

    Welcome.
    Agreed. Ask questions.

And give feedback, as best you can, as to whether or not the answer helped. Or solved the issue.

    And read. And search.
There is an Imperial Arseload (tm) of valuable information/knowledge in this forum.

Welcome @Luger I joined in 2011 with a pair of monitor 10b’s and an integrated I’d had since 1987. I started getting my learn on and the upgrades slowly but surely followed. Just today brought home what I think might be my end goal components. Love ‘em or hate ‘em, I’ve got a lot of these guys to thank for the musical journey.

The SDA 2A ended production in 1987, so either you have a different model or made a mistake on the date.
