I was referred here by another member. I have only a modest 2 channel system of recent Marantz manufacture and two sets of vintage Polk speakers: SDA 2 (circa 1985 a/k/a “early version”) and SDA 2A (circa 1989). I am using the SDA 2A’s which work well and sound great. Reading here, I have certainly learned some things about the SDA2A. The SDA 2’s, however, have been problematic and I’d like to get them working properly again. I have lots of questions; I hope you can help. I apologize in advance: I am sorry that I have nothing to contribute to the forum; but I am learning. Thanks, Lou

Welcome @Luger I joined in 2011 with a pair of monitor 10b’s and an integrated I’d had since 1987. I started getting my learn on and the upgrades slowly but surely followed. Just today brought home what I think might be my end goal components. Love ‘em or hate ‘em, I’ve got a lot of these guys to thank for the musical journey.“Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.'”
