Revel F228Be speakers

had a chance to listen to the Revel F228Be speakers with beryllium tweeters and ceramic/aluminum/ceramic sandwich midrange and bass drivers.
the speakers were fast, detailed, open mid range, and tight deep bass.
but think i could live with the tweeters, after a while your ears would start to bleed.

    Haha, just made mention of this in another thread! Honestly that room was a let down for me. The last time I went to the Expo (2 years ago?) they had the JBL Everest flagships running off higher end Levinson separates and those Levinson mono-blocks we saw. To this day that's probably the most expensive system I've heard (but not the most impressive).

    There is definitely no love for Revel in TX. You guys mirror Skip’s sentiments.

    No love might be harsh. For me I mostly have no love at their price points.
