    200 and 400 disc changers in my rack. Not audiophile sound by any stretch but sound good in my meager rig. Convenient and I can hit shuffle and go a month or more without hearing the same song twice...

    I think I have 3 of them. :D 900 Cds...LOL would be something to have to log into a spiral notebook. I think I might even have the 400 CD models. B)

    Will I live long enough to listen to them all? :)

    I still want to daisy them also. I have a manual to tell me how and a nice huge remote too.

    I've always wanted to do that since I got my second one. I might have a third or I just had a few chances to get the third for 70.00 or around there. I see them pop up once or twice a year around here on CL.
    Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

    So I just got home with the Marantz. This baby is clean. Faceplate does not have a mark on it!

    Powers up, display is clean and bright, all functions appear to work (sans remote control). So I pop a disc in (oh no!) and see what happens. The unit stores it at slot #14! What's going on here?

    Sure enough, which IMO is a common issue with the mega changers, is that you forget what's in there! Sure enough, I happily eject 13 discs from the machine!

    Called the guy and said the discs were his dad's, jewel cases are long gone, and they're mine! Woohoo! Not exactly my genre (Yanni, Celine Dion, et. al) but heck!

    Popped my disc in there right now, Michael Cassette, playing on the office rig! One nice thing about this unit is that is has digital output, so I'm currently using as a transport to the Marantz AMP-1.

    Not bad for 50 bucks!

    Oh yeah, also have the product info sheets and user's manual! :smile:

    Speaking of CD player forensics ;)

    Years back, I found a beautiful old Sony CDP at... well, y'all know where I found it.

    I brought it home and she was muerto.
    I popped the top and discovered her last meal, still inside.
    A Kenny G CD.
    I figure that was too much for the old Sony to handle and she expired under the digestive stress. :(
