McCormack DNA-125 Stereo Power Amp w/ mods by Bob Backert

McCormack DNA-125 stereo power amplifier. This amp has been modded by Bob Backert of RHB Sound Dezign with upgraded signal path caps (Black Gate) and power supply. Cost of the mod was $500.00 alone. This is, bar none, the best sounding amp I have ever owned. The amp looks good except for a few very small blemishes here and there. Nothing big or really noticeable but I'm being overly cautious in my description just in case you see something I miss. Rear lettering has aged in a few places. The amp performs and sounds amazing. Original box & packing materials included. Local pick up is welcome and encouraged.

Price is $1000 to Polk Forum members in good standing with at least 100 posts. Price is $1200 to anyone else.

I have had personal experience with this amp and will say that I seriously considered buying it again. Hands down I preferred it to the Pass Alph, Parasound A21 or B&K 200.5. Was far more impactful and involving than the others in my system.

Also, Victor is a great person to do business with. Buy with confidence.

If vanilla recognizes a suspect ip (ie using a vpn or similar) it will autoban you, ive had it happen to me before

Whew! Not banned any longer! I was wondering what happened. I do use a VPN so that’s got to be it.

Unfortunately, when banned, you’re locked out completely. I couldn’t access PM’s with contact info for Ken. I’ll make sure I get all that stuff down in case this happens again.

I can concur as well. I had a B&K ST125.2 and the McCormack is the superior amp.
