Boston Acoustics VR-920 Monster Center Channel for sale - $125 plus shipping and fees

Awesome, monster center channel for sale. I bought it thinking I could make it fit under my TV, well it doesn't lol. I have used it several times for movies by placing it on a heavy duty laptop stand, but there is not use keeping it just for that.

This thing is HUGE! 27W x 9.5D x 7H.

In good shape overall, but the plastic end caps are starting to separate in the back (see pics). 4 of the 8 grill pegs are broken but still stays in place just fine.

This thing sounds AWESOME. Very clear dialogue and it can handle huge dynamic shifts. If you have the space, this could be the one!!!

I'll ship fedex ground; I;m guessing $30-40 due to the size. Payment via Paypal (please cover the fees).

Pics incoming...

I ran Boston Acoustic VR series in our HT for years. I had the same exact center. That is the one speaker out of the 7 that I truly regretted selling. Fantastic price and great seller too!

Thanks Al! And I think that if you have a higher end audyssey (like XT32) and main speakers with metal dome tweeters (like def tech, energy rc, or PSB image or imagine) this should actually blend pretty well.

FYI I would like to move this, so I have it listed on that auction site for $25 more. I will honor this price for active polkies, 6 months and 100 posts.

I'm currently using this same model along with the VR965 towers. These are excellent performing speakers especially when mated with a nice powerful and good sounding AVR like my big Onkyo TX-NR5008 or Anthem MRX 300.

I miss the VR line. They where basically a copy of Definitive Technology in a Boston kinda way.. They sounded fantastic and really performed well for both music and movies equally. Some of the very best sounding mid level theaters I did back in the day where equipped with the VR series and B&K powering them. Great combo. God I miss those days.

Are they 6x9, 6x8 or 5x7 inch drivers? That looks like a beast of a center!
