I did then got a bad case of food poisoning from some and that made me very hesitant, then one night i binged on "monsters inside me" yea I can live without it to be honest.
If I'm at the coast I'll pound down oysters on the half shell by the dozens.

Brian I'm there just for saturday to see the show and get my gear from Skip. I'm pretty open for anything.... BUT Sushi ;)

That was Giordano's stuffed pizza ( not to be confused with deep dish) . AKA Skip's Chicago addiction! I have 0 issues going back there all 3 days. They don't take reservations that's all. Between the audio show and the dance show ( same as last year) we will have a wait.

Pizzeria Uno that was in Schaumburg closed. Nearest one is closer to downtown.

Giordano's is like. 3 -4 minute drive from Axpona.

Pizzeria Uno is not even close to the pizza they had in the 80's and 90's I'm up for Giordano's that is much better pizza.

    There's a reason Pizzeria Uno's are all closing ...

Thursday night, we should be able to get into Giordanos without a problem. For Saturday since we have a lot of folks coming from out of town, if we want to do Giordanos , we will have a wait. I have no problems at all having a wait. It went by quick last year since we were just having a few drinks and BSing while waiting.

I am always down for Pizza again Saturday but if we want a 7pm reservation or something different, my old standby is Wildfire. They usually have consistent quality meat or Seasons 52 has a fantastic wine selection. https://www.seasons52.com/home

This place, http://www.pilot-petes.com/location.php has a killer lobster Nacho's. I am gonna call and see if they take reservations. if they do, Anyone in for them Friday night?

BTW if skip lived out here, he would look for a house within walking distance to Giordanos LOL

@DSkip "Its always tough getting people to go into a room with products they don't recognize, but I found that once they MADE it into my room, about 80% sat down and listened for at least a song. Given the massive amount of rooms and limited time to see them, that can be interpreted as nothing but a successful show. Reviewers, attendees, dealers, and other vendors were extremely impressed."

Skip said this last year. I have to say this is 10000000000% accurate. Last year I only had a 2 day pass. Unless I was beyond interested in a brand or the sound grabbed me within 1-2 minutes of walking into a room, I would look at the gear quick and walk to the next one. I did NOT see all the rooms. This year I have a 3 day pass. Folks who haven't gone before and only have a 1 or 2 day pass, I suggest taking a look on the AXPONA site

This year, Bridget has to work this Saturday however, we work at Career Education Corp and it is only 6 minutes away from AXPONA so she will be joining us Saturday night and possibly Friday night for drinks and food.

I was referring to Bridget knocking out a few bars of opera at the waiting area of Giordano’s last year. The people around us thought we were nuts, but she has a beautiful voice. B)
