new christmas toy
got a pair of soundtech mc-15, a harbeth p3esr clone from china. gets good press over in singapore. i just listened to it briefly before christmas and so far so good, i'll have to hit skip up to to listen to the harbeths. notice the listed price is in singapore dollars.
same specs as the harbeths, the 83.5 db rating had me afraid but my 60 watt yaqin had no problems. will get back after some more listening. could be a killer deal.

that's $655.25 us /pair

Wow that looks very cool. I would be interested to hear how they compare as I have always loved how they sound. Congrats Marvin.

Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

^^Sound as good as my computer speakers.
I guess because I am listening through them.
2 channel: Anthem 225 Integrated amp; Parasound Ztuner; TechnicsTT SL1350; Vincent PHO-8 phono pre; Marantz CD6005 spinner; Polk SDA2BTL's; LAT International speaker cables, ZU Mission IC's and power cables all into a PS Audio Dectet Power center.
Other; M10 series II, M7C's, Hafler XL600 amp, RB-980BX, Parasound HCA-1500 amp , P5 preamp, all in storage. All vintage Polk have had crossover rebuilds and tweeter upgrades.

No sub? Also curious have you tried with SS amps? If so, was it a displeasing change?

Me neither. I did hear what seemed to be some very nice sounding speakers the guy was videoing.
I get your point though.
