Hey folks, I have put together an older Parasound separate system:

-HCA 1200II power amp
-P/HP 850 pre amp
-C/DP 1500 cd changer
-D/AC 1100HD Dax
-Pioneer PL530 turntable

Currently using blue jean ICs, Linn K20 speaker cables and Mercury Magnetics 12awg power cords and Jennings Reseach contrata pedestal speakers. I really like this rig, I would be cool to get another power amp and run one per Chanel, that would be a killer set up!

I definitely prefer warmer sound with mellow hi freq, I was thinking in getting new speakers/cabling. what would you recommend.... new, old?

    Thanks clipart! 👍🏼
I am willing to experiment with phono preamps as well, the php 850 built in phono is sounding a bit mor analytical and cooler in comparison to the Marantz 1060 phono, maybe I am still getting used to the new sound.

Tanks man, I really like the look too and sounds good! I made a quantum jump from the 70s to the 90s, still love my vintage Marantz gear, though!

Do these all have balanced connections? I am going to be listing some Pangea True Balanced Premier SE Cables soon if you would be interested. To me they were comparable to my Audioquest Columbia interconnects.

You need to match that system with some big old school floor speakers. If only I could think of a brand..........

Start with the Monitor 10a with the Peerless tweeter. Then when you Bi-Amp start looking at the SDA's
