    I agree. Great Directing talent.

I watched the L and S show back then too.

    They were a funny act.

RIP. I loved her Laverne character. I was not aware that she was married to Ron Reiner at one time or was the sister to Garry Marshall.

Rob Reiner ( Meathead ) I think was her 2nd husband. Yea, that's him. ;)

Yea, Gary Marshall, I didn't know that either or just forgot over the years.

    RIP Penny,

I am reminded, there was a lot of good TV in the 70's and a good part of the 80's.
2 channel: Anthem 225 Integrated amp; Parasound Ztuner; TechnicsTT SL1350; Vincent PHO-8 phono pre; Marantz CD6005 spinner; Polk SDA2BTL's; LAT International speaker cables, ZU Mission IC's and power cables all into a PS Audio Dectet Power center.

Other; M10 series II, M7C's, Hafler XL600 amp, RB-980BX, Parasound HCA-1500 amp , P5 preamp, all in storage. All vintage Polk have had crossover rebuilds and tweeter upgrades.

The best way to predict the future is to invent it.

It is imperative that we recognize that an opinion is not a fact.

Imagine making politics your entire personality.

Mork and Mindy was on when L and S was on I believe. Maybe afterwards. The Fonz's show too.

I remember when Happy Days reruns were on in 1975 in the morning at 10:30 am ct. A large TV room in my university student center was packed with folks watching it. It was very popular. Seemed like better days, '75 I mean. :)

If I remember correctly, "Happy Days" was on at 8PM Tuesday night, followed by "L&S". Then "Three's Company" at 9PM....I don't remember what followed. "Mork and Mindy" was on Thursday, I think.

I'd highly recommend the movie "Awakenings" with Robert De Niro and Robin Williams. Such a wonderfully acted and directed movie.

    RIP Penny Marshall

You guys are going to get me in trouble for derailing a RIP thread.

Example: So I watched the original "Planet of The Apes" from 1968 last night
They were on planet Earth the whole time.
