There are all kinds of wacky stuff out there. Some fake and some real. I bet if we humans knew even 1/4 of what is out there, our skulls would explode. (Or get huge, like that one.)

We're living in a time now when everything to discover has just about been done.

The deepest jungles and the Oceans are all that's left just about.

When the Hubble telescope stayed focused on a dark spot of the universe for 3 days I think it was, maybe more, what did it uncover? A thousand more stars and galaxies or more. :o

I sometimes wonder if human kind will survive long enough to master space travel for the masses? I don't think so, myself. I think we're at a pinnacle.

I think there is plenty more to discover. Even here on Earth. But in space? More like billions of stars and now millions of galaxies.

Humankind will be given the ability to master space travel from an extraterrestrial source before figuring out such things as wormholes, portals, or whatever else.

As far as being at "a pinnacle", I believe that we barely know one millionth of 1% of all of the technology in existence throughout the universe. And I accept the possibility that every bit of that was created by a single source. :o

I was talking about here on Earth.

It's a shame Carl Sagan passed before the Mars rover roamed Mars or the last photos of the last planet that explorer(?) took before leaving our solar system.

140 million miles is nothing. I think there is a Volvo out there with more than that on it. :p
