Connecting Computer (VGA) to 65 inch display (HDMI) sound not required

For work, I have to supply a wall mounted 65 inch display, and connect it to a computer that only has VGA out (1920x1080).

Any help selecting a converter would be appreciated.

    In line converters are all over the net. Some are cables, others are stubby adapters. Just keep in mind that most ar one way in the wrong direction, so look for an analog cable without a box.

    Some displays that size are really picky about resolution. They may have only a few native screen sizes that they will recognize and if your computer video software doesn't output the EXACT number of pixels, you would get no image.

    If have tried a few cheap solutions with not so good results.They tend to need to be unplugged and plugged back in to facilitate an HDMI handshake each time. I can't name any particular brand names because they are somewhere in a box in storage where they belong.

    Search "VGA to HDMI" on Amazon. Lots of choices under $20. Go with the most/best reviews.
