For amps, I'd love a properly restored vintage Marantz or Yamaha.
I'm happy with the speakers I've got, so maybe mods and updates to my current speakers. -
A pair of these would be nice.

Here's a pair in one rack.

As would a pair of these.
The A5s topped with 1505/288s, that is Wouldn't turn down the half-210 subwoofers, either, though.

Behind a pair of these
-
ProAc Response D48R
I don't know what amp I'd use to drive them. I heard them on the TOTL Naim amp at Pro Musica in Chicago and the pairing was a great match. Still, I've owned a Sanders Sound Systems ESL MK II amp and that sucker has gobs of power with very little heat output and it handled every pair of speakers we threw at it, with ease, at the Chicagoland Polkfest in '06.
@tonyb piqued my interest in the Butler tube amps so that'd definitely be in the running. Of course, a fully restored and modded McCormack DNA-225 or DNA-500 would fit the bill as well.
As for the preamp, I loved my VTL 2.5 but I'd definitely consider the Cary Audio Designs SLP-05. After owning (and loving) the Cary CPA-1, I can definitely see myself moving into their TOTL preamp paired with a McCormack.
However, whichever amp + pre combo mates the best with the ProAc D48R is the gear that would stay.Audio: Polk S15 * Polk S35 * Polk S10 * SVS SB-1000 Pro
HT: Samsung QN90B * Marantz NR1510 * Panasonic DMP-BDT220 * Roku Ultra LT * APC H10 -
After hearing my Monitor Audios, I'm now wanting a pair of the TOTL bookies from Monitor Audio. More than likely I'll grab a pair of the Bronze 2s at some point, and a long way in the future the TOTL models might just happen.

Wow, never knew of the Crimsons. Pretty cool. I like Carver gear. I'd like some Silver 7 or 9t. -
Looking at my "last system". At 56, my desire to chase the dragon is waning, but I do desire one last grand system. The limitation is that we recently moved to the canyon country of Oregon and unless things change we will only rent for the last ten years of my teaching career. The place we are in is just 1k sq feet, and my only listening space is a small 10x11 basement room. The good side is that my wife doesn't even enter the space so I have full control visually (with Magnepan 1.6's that can cause grumbling), and can rotate gear.
