Polk Magnifi Soundbar not working

ok so this happens from time to time but i can usually get it fixed no problem in a few minutes but ive spent hours on this. i cant get the soundbar to play sound when i connect my laptop to it. thankfully before i lost the remote i put it on bluetooth but even still then it wont work!! please help. i need music because i am a dancer and i need to practice!!

My advice is to shitcan it and use a Klipsch KMC 3 for your need.
