For sale, pair of Polk 7A speakers with Peerless tweeters. Pair of stands included. $125, cash and carry. (I'm on severe weight restriction right now so serious about the carry). Pickup only, Chicago area. Close to I55/I80 interchange. Joliet, Plainfield area. No boxes, won’t ship.
These were in my basement retro system. Downsizing, decluttering.
Some slight damage top left rear and top right rear corner and left top edge on one speaker. You can see it in pic #3, pic #5 and pic #7. Doesn't look that bad from front.
No cuts/tears in grills. (I should have dusted grills better). No broken grill buttons. One speaker missing stapled on serial number tag. Drivers not damaged.
These are stock speakers, no crossover/binding post mods. Still sound great.
Pair of speaker stands included. No idea what brand, but they look pretty nice. Stands have slight tilt, noticeable in pic #3 where I reversed one stand.
I am scompracer on ebay, 100% pos feedback, 404, 78 as seller. scompracer at Audiogon, 186 100%, and US Audio Mart.

Don, did you try a woofer push before and after shorting jumper wire removed? Yeah, once I got my head on straight and remembered what you had said. Lol. Got the chills yesterday and woke up fighting off something earlier today. 😑 that is a neat thing I wasn’t familiar with.
