Average Ebay prices in the last week appear to be around $2400 for the 205 new in box and $700 for the 203. The 203 is definitely the better deal for the price right now! If Sony or Panasonic were to release a higher quality model next year, chances are it will cost more than the 203 does now.

With the kind of coin those Oppos are bringing you could sell it and take a roady to Chicago and cheer on your Rockies there. They were no match for the Dodgers out west today.

    Go Rockies!

You could sell one, and in a year or so when the hype dies down, you could buy another used one, and basically end up with a 205 that someone paid you $2000+ to take. :p

That sentimental touch plays into it as well. I'm just someone who has never listened to a proper quality CD player. I have learned there are levels to everything and I know that applies for players.
