Now to install next week once quick connects from Mouser arrive to be able to hook up the new 16mH inductors.
Thanks to Dave at DHS speakers for the help on the inductors he provided.

Very nice. Wish the inside of all speakers came like this from the factory!

Yea I know Paul, but it makes it so easy to switch between new and old XO to compare. I still plan on putting new wire, binding posts and nutrik connectors for the Dreadnaught when money catches up until then this is what it is. If it's any consolation I did use silver wire for my jumpers, got me some hot rod wire jumpers pal :p :p

Those look almost identical to yours...except I used different jumpers.

So last night I got to finally install my new boards and inductors. Boy was I surprised at what I found. Large value caps basically bypassed with smaller value caps to make the value needed 12uf with a 4.2uf for example. There was also a correct cap 18uf bypassed with another 5.8 cap. Now I know why I could never get them dialed in. My room is not in the least the best for these speakers but my living arrangements are for the moment just a temporary stop, so one day I will have a better room for them. Still the XO must of been made on a day when someone re-upped their grass supply.

I've always thought the goal of high-end audio was not to have your neighbors bang on the wall and say, 'Turn that darn music down' but to have your neighbors bang on the wall and say, 'Tell your friends to go home and you can practice later this week'.

I've seen worse than those Ivan. Capacitor values all over the place, and inductors too.
