Yeah I love me some Zia...although oddly enough their vinyl selection at a couple stores in Az seem to have been dwindling a little bit.

Never the less I picked up two records this last weekend as a gift to myself for my bday.

The 2 Journey’s are used but mint.

I have been on a rip lately. Told myself that I would slow down this year as "somewhat of a New Year's Resolution".

Well, I lied to myself. Bad.

I have been going on a rampage. Besides the last 12 albums/CD's and SACD's I have blown money on so far this year, spent the dough today to get some of my favorites on a better (hopefully) source of medium...

Sarah is on SACD...currently only have the RB version and not available on a higher format AFAIK (other than LP)

Two BO'd Mo-Fi CD's - Greatest Rock ballads and Brothers in Arms SHM-SACD

    and finally this week?

All pic's from the web whenever and wherever I could find them but the photos are accurate for what I ordered. I have feed the beast for now. We shall see what tomorrow brings...Lawd hep me please!

I believe this variant is the uncredited Steve Hoffman master.
This release has two black rings on the CD.
Manufactured in Japan for MCA Records, Inc.
This version was not released before October 1986.
Official Total Time: 43:23 - 43:25 for this Steve Hoffman mastering.

A more accurate breakdown of the timing m:s.f for the 1A1 6X and 1A4 6X versions:
    5:00.10
    5:33.55
    2:10.58
    3:35.35
    6:18.00
    4:49.35
    3:43.22
    3:40.58
    8:32.17
    total time 43:23.65

The two CDs are housed in a 'fatboy' double jewel-case.
The silver discs with black and red text were pressed by Sony Music Australia (SMA):
"Manufactured in Australia by Sony Music Entertainment (Australia) Limited
℗ 1988 Sony Music Entertainment Inc.
Columbia is the exclusive trademark of Sony Music Entertainment Inc."
Variant 2, no black rings at centre and disc perimeter.

You can buy "slim" 2 disc case. They are the size of a regular thickness CD case. 99% of the time The top and bottom paperwork will fit right in and you'll never know the difference. I've switched out all my fat boys that way and use that method.

Many of the bands/albums are unknown to me. Not a big $$$ day as 14 of the records were only $20. The best find of today is Rock Bottom by Robert Wyatt.
