Isn’t the RD0194-1 the part number for model number SL2000 tweeter?
Likewise the RD0198-1 is an SL2500?
No the replacement for the SL2000 is the RD-0194-1.
Likewise the RD-0198-1 is the replacement for the SL3000 but it so happens that it also works for the SL2500.
Both are much better tweeters than the previous tweeters they are replacing.
I’ve read both on forums. Yet I see them listed as one product at Midwest Speaker…

The RD-0198-1 is a drop-in replacement for the SL2500 and SL3000. The RD-0194-1 is the drop-in replacent for the SL2000, and can also replace the SL1000 with some slight cabinet modifications.Home Theater/2 Channel:

I see the confusion on that page. The wording is not 100% clear to someone who wouldn't have additional knowledge. From that link:
"POLK AUDIO RD0198-1 SL2500 SL3000: 1 INCH DOME TWEETER"
Just means the 198 is the replacement for the 2500 and 3000.The Thrifty Setups in Mah House Big thrifty stereo in the basement w/ my custom SDA-1C (built with help from kind forum members) * Beautiful 1966 MCM GE console upgraded w/ Bluetooth, Dual turntable, and Paradigm speakers in family room * Swanky 1980 Realistic system and great TEAC eq with dancing colored lights in the living room * custom 5B on a system for my Dad * Ye Olde college stereo in the garage
