Why Are The Spaces In Our Signatures...

Twice the size they were a couple days ago? I'm talking about when you push the return/enter key to add a space. What was the reason for the change? To make everyone's signature even longer? It's the little things that bother me.

If you press shift+enter instead, does it create a shorter space?

Negatory

Maybe they tweaked/updated our version of Vanilla to resolve that issue with the mobile/full site that Jesse reported.
Could be an unintended side effect of that. But yeah, would be nice to have it back to the way it was before. Some people already have super long signatures, and now they've been made even longer.
Also some might consider editing their gear lists to how you have yours, versus each piece of equipment having it's own line and this making the signature nearly a "full page" long. -
I figured it was probably Jesse's fault!

Ok, that was weird, when I wrote that comment out, I pressed enter once between each paragraph. I just confirmed it by pressing edit. But yet, it inserted what appears to be a double space instead.
Something definitely wrong with the way return spaces are currently being processed by the forum. -
I didn't make my signature short out of kindness. I just don't have a lot of stuff.
-
Haha, I just meant you put the items in more of a side by side list format, instead of pressing enter in between each piece of gear.
-
So it's not just signatures.
It's posts as well. Terrific, I'm going to go buy a larger monitor. -
Problem also exists in PMs.

Any insight on this @KennethSwauger?

Got it, will do.
No idea what’s going on with this issue though.
It seems that the issue only occurs on a computer, on my iPad Mini 2 it doesn’t seem to be present. -
Problem appears to be Firefox specific. I just loaded a few forum pages in Chrome and it's not inserting the extra spaces in the body of messages and in signatures there.

I’ll see if it occurs in Safari on my tablet.
Edit: doesn’t exist in Safari. -
Here's a great solution:

Problem also exists in the way FF is rending standard comments with paragraph breaks, as well as PMs.

been a lot of problems with Firefox lately. it seems to be easily infected with viruses and Trojans lately. They have stripped off all our machines at work and the tech who worked on my mothers computer also stated he has even seen it infected directly from the Mozilla site.
It was my favorite browser for a long time. -
