shadowlightshadowlight Posts: 325

Everyone is invited to Audio Gathering at our place in Princeton, NJ. If you would like to attend please post in the thread or send me a PM. If you are coming from out of town and need a place to stay look for hotels in 08540 or 08852.

I would like to thank Lampizator, Pure Audio Project and Hattor Audio who have agreed to provide equipment.

Equipment on hand for the gathering is still being finalized but here is my understanding on what is likely to make an appearance for folks to listen to.

Lampizator - Pacific Dac

Lampizator - Golden Atlantic Plus

I have heard the non Golden Atlantic DAC previously but I have not heard the rest of the equipment so I am looking forward to the day also.

@pitdogg2 , we have 3 airports within hour of our home (Newark, Trenton and Philly). Both Allegiant and Frontier fly into Trenton if that option is available to you, which is 20 minute from home.

    New addition to the event.

Qobuz has agreed to provide demo account for the event, so we will have lots of music to try in Hi-Res.

I would like to thank David Solomon (Qobuz - Cheif Hi-Res Music Evangelist) for making it possible.

Slight correction on the Golden Atlantic Plus listing. It is just a normal GA and not a GA+.

    Sorry, about that.

Oh well in that case, I'm no longer coming.

What can I say? I like to make sure that the information is as accurate as I can make it. On one of the other forum some asked what the difference was between normal GA an GA+, they either own one or has heard one.

Nope, the only person that I know who was at the event is @pumpkinman but I have know him for years outside of the Polk forum. That was the reason that I would have liked some of the forum members who are in the area to join.

A great GTG as usual. Shadowlight is a most generous host. Lots of great food and fun.
To bad Chris and Tom couldn’t make it this year.

Thanks D for putting up with me again.
