Magnifi One X Surround audio cuts out

Hello,
First off, the quality of sound is great on this and I happy with that portion. However, the audio cuts in and out somewhat frequently. It seems to happen much more often when I am watching cable than when I am playing playstation. I have tested this by watching the show with my TV speakers on and my soundbar on and I can hear my soundbar cut out but not the TV.
The soundbar is currently plugged into my LG 60UH6150 via optic cable and plugged into my Xfinity box via Aux.
I have tried a variety of different combinations but nothing seems to work.
Any insight would be greatly appreciate!
