Nice B&K ST 2140 140w/ch amp

I am selling my B&K ST 2140 power amp. I have had this for a while and it is one my 2 favorite B&K amps. There are many excellent reviews online. The 2140 puts out 140 into 8 ohms and 180 into 4 ohms ohms with 35 amps current. The one has both RCA inputs and balanced inputs. It is in excellent shape and works perfectly. It is also quiet on shut down and start up. Some are not. The sound is more neutral then earlier B&k amps and more transparent yet there is a fullness to it. Very well built at 31lbs. and nice looking. Located in MN and would be well packed for shipping My packing is excellent. Asking $295
I also have the matching Reference 5 preamp tuner with the never around B&K system remote. Also a pair of Analysis plus Copper oval in balanced ICs which work well with this. Thanks

Nice combination set of separates here.
The Reference 5 preamp is a nice little piece. Nice sound, simple, and pairs well with both B&K and Parasound amplifiers. Same ergos as the B&K Reference series processors, like the Ref 50, Ref 30, and AVR series.
How much are you asking for the Ref 5, Keith?I disabled signatures. -
I Just realized i probably should have put that in there. I would do $265 on it They go for more and most do not have the remote . FYI it is better sounding then the PT3 which I have a couple of those.

Curious why the channel 2 is not utilized...
The same case is both used for the 2 and 3 channel amps. I guess they just they just wanted more room between interconnects for the 2 channel amp.
