Did anyone else watch this? I just watched it and I really enjoyed it. They really hit it out of the park. The first episode I almost turned it off but I stuck it. They visited many of the original places which was really cool.

Anyone who is a karate Kid fan will really enjoy this.

I didn't even know about this until a couple days ago. I was planning on checking it out tomorrow. I thought it was a movie, but looks like it is broken up into episodes. Do you know if it's meant as a single season limited series or a full series if it goes well? I'd check it out now, but the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is on HBO.

I just watched the first two episodes. I thought they were great. The first two episodes were free, now they want money or something. It's like a crack dealer, the first two pieces were free, now you're hooked and have to "drop your skittle" if you want more.

I had never used or knew much about YouTube Red. I thought I'd be viewing commercials ever so often. But it's a paid service. Too many paid services to pick from nowadays, imo.

Season one is ten episodes. First two episodes were just shy of 30 minutes each, I think. I don't know if this is supposed to be a single season event. I think it would be difficult to make a full series out of it. So far, it's sort of, from a different perspective. You want to root for the Johnny Lawrence character.

There's actually a part in the first episode where Johnny Lawrence has to kick someone and then immediately groans in pain from doing the kick.

I ended up signing up for the free trial and watching them the night they were released

I enjoyed them And ended up watching Karate Kid a couple of days later

LOL I wanted to go re watch the Karate Kid to after watching them. I wonder if and when season 2 will come out, anyone know if there are plans for another season? The cliff hangers at the end of 10 seems to suggest another season is coming.

They are probably going to judge how it's received before deciding on a second season. But they obviously left the door open for one.

I watched the first two episodes. Thought they were good, but not enough to get me to sign up for another subscription service. I liked the idea that's been floating around for a few years that maybe it was Daniel-san who was the real obnoxious bully and trouble maker.

I would expect there will be a season two. It's not like the two main actors have been in high demand for their acting talents the last few years so they should be hungry to do another season.
