    yes i did get a chance to hook it up to my musical paradise mp-d2 dac.
    my first question is, how long did you burn it in ?

    1. it sounded like a blanket had been placed over the highs and upper midrange.
    2. it did not pick up on any spacial cues making the sound stage small and flat.
    3. there was little impact to the bass or overall music.

    i'll burn it in some more to see that fixes it. if not i'll let todd or skip give it a second opinion.

    forget about the above three statements, it has now opened up and sounds pretty good.
    i will give it some more listening time and then do a with/without comparison.
