Hey community,
I've came across a couple of used power amps on Kijiji.
Parasound hca 2003a (5 channels)
and
HCA-2205A (3 channels)
Looking at the specifications they seem almost the same.
Minding the price (they are almost the same, ~1.2K), what else do I need to consider when purchasing a power amp for a 5.1 Homethreater system. (Probably consisting of CSIA6 RTI A9, and a couple of rear speakers[dont know what they'll be yet]).
Thanks!

I think 5 channel amps are the way to go especially when trying to power a 5 channel speaker package. Even power around the room I feel is ideal due to peak output performance. Control and detail doesn't change.
Parasound amps are very good, I can't see any reason not to get one.Dan
My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time.
