Suddenly last night my PC at home is telling me I have to sign in to Club Polk but then it just gives me the “hourglass” routine indefinitely when I try to sign in. I can get on the forum with my iPhone but not on my OC. What gives?

Should say “ but not on my PC”, not OC. Sometimes this phone ticks me off. Lol

umm -- I am (not atypically) clueless, but, were it me, I'd try:
1) clearing cookies
2) trying another browser
and see what happens.
Actually, I'd probably try 2) first.
FWIW, no problems with access here via a Lenovo lappie (Win10) via Chrome.

Thanks, (2) seemed to work.

There are weird interopeability issues between websites & browsers IME.
For a year or more, I couldn't use the "Italics" tags from Chrome here -- they just didn't work. If I used Firefox or (ugh) Edge, they did.
Chrome updates itself regularly, so it wasn't an out of date browser.
Then, one day, they started to work.
Just another one of those digital mysteries.

I had the same problem using Safari on a mac. Switched to Firefox, and was able to log in with no problem.Sunfire Theater Grand IV

Same here this AM. Chrome got me in. Neither Edge or IE would log in directly, had to hit join, which took me to a different page, and then there was a link for existing users which did work.Home Theater/2 Channel:

Ya know, Edge is not actually so bad. It does have a few weird things, like I sometimes have a little trouble finding history or favorites, but I rarely use either of those things so it’s no big deal.
I actually had a friend come over and he wanted to download some mixer program, but he saw that I used Edge and said “I will save you a lot of frustration and download Chrome for you”. But I told him that I liked Edge and he said “ok fine” and used it and found it to be a fairly good browser. Not the best, it’s no Google Chrome, but I don’t have a ton of space on my PC and I want to save as much as possible, so I only have Edge and (ugh) Internet Explorer. Now that is a bad Browser, it’s slow and confusing. (You all probably already know that) -

So is it's father...Internet Exploder.
Yup, haven't used the MS browsers for a long, long time. Heck, even when I used to work for a living (a concept I still hazily remember) I discovered that, for whatever reasons, I had sufficient privileges to d/l and install other browsers... so I did.
