Well Doc, if I end up with it, you will probably be hounded relentlessly with setup questions.

Crusher, if the 6000 is available, I might have an interested party. My father is looking for a sub/sat system in St. Louis. If it is still available, please PM ir email me. Thanks, Jeff

Yes they are available. Pretty heavy package but UPS ground service would probably be somewhat reasonable. $190 shipped with insurance and you can have them. They are in perfect shape with not a scratch or blemish.

    Let me know

    Jeff

Not sure. They will be over this evening and then I will post the result. Should have an answer by 9pm or so.

Crusher, I spoke to my father and he is very interested. I emailed him the link to the Polk website on the 6000 system. He will get back to me tomorrow. I hope you can hold them for one more day for me. Thanks, Jeff

I have to say the system sounded awesome! I will need to do something to my room but I doubt it will ever sound that great with just one 16-46PCi in it. I have blackout lining that is going around the room and I will probably put some insulation boards on the wall as well to prevent it from shaking. Still haven't properly calibrated the system either.

My friend was very happy and I'm happy for him, especially when he was going to get Bose. Now I will just have to convince him to make compromises on his room setup and not on his sound setup. That one might be a tougher task.

    Thanks Jeff!
