    Russman,

I work in Grand Prairie so it would be a little less of a drive if you want to come snag it. It is killing me to have to get rid of it. If you want to make the little drive $400 and its yours.

Too bad it isn't 16-46PCi, I would pair it with mine. I have e-mailed a few friends, I'm sure you will be able to sell it locally.

Jeff, I'm trying to convince my friend to buy the whole system, including the sub and the Polk's. He is wanting to buy a Bose system and I'm trying to save him.

I have RTi70's myself as well, got them from CC's clearance and moved the Infinity RS5's to surround. Very nice speakers...

Its all about the space. I am moving to a smaller place and it is just too big for the only corner available.
    Ok $400 who is first?????

    Man I hate this!!!!!

Looks like the r30's and CSI30 are sold. But everything else is still a go. The RTI70's work well with the CSI20 just not quite as seemless as theCSI30.

    Sami,

If your friend is looking for something smaller I have a Polk rm6000 setup in black that I would let go for $165.00. This includes the 8" Polk sub.

Man I am beginning to realize the mass of speakers I have collected over the last year.

Jeff, what would be a good time to come and see what you have? Do you have the speakers setup so we could demo them?

I have both systems setup right now but that will change rapidly. Tomorrow evening would probably be ok. I am in the Fort Worth area near downtown. Just let me know if that sounds ok and we can arrange the details.

    Nah, I don't need it.

If it was a passive model, I might jump, but even then. You should bag it James, really, you should. ;)

    Cheers,

SVS will custom tune the 25-31PCI and 20-39PCI to a lower tune if you request it. They add a couple of inches to the port to get the lower tuning.

Believe me Russ, it is damn tempting... (Stupid $$$) Which room though? Supplementing the SDA's and get the big daddy for the HT or try not to blow it up in the big room?

It's a sub, put it in the HT room.

I forget what you are running in there. You can put my payment on hold if that'll help you close escrow on this deal. Bottom line, for the price, it's a no brainer if you are looking for a sub.

Actually, it would be a hell of a stop gap to save up for the PB2Ultra and then rotate the subs... Gotta talk to the aesthetic boss...

The PB2 will take up more real estate, and IMO is more than overkill. If you need to pressurize the room, go ahead I guess.

Truth be known, for those that haven't heard SVS go (I can't believe I'm in an SVS post now), here is my official statement:

"The cheapest, passive SVS, with an external 200w amp, beit plate, mono, or bridged stereo amp - will outperform *anything* in the retail market at twice it's price AND is borderline, if not overkill in the avg sized home theater room."

Of course the prior statement doesn't apply to Sid or Sid's dad, who have proven they can blow ANYTHING up.

You've got a DEAL staring you square in the face, don't hesitate TOO long. If your balls are shaking in fear - tell her about the money you would save, and how it's something really important to you.

    Cheers,
    Russ

Honestly, it depends what you're looking for and what your driving the the 150's with. If I had the 150s running on my Carver, I wouldn't be looking for a sub. However, I only have the 800's and no sub at all so I am missing a ton of info. If you're running a receiver, it would be a nice pickup. That being said, Russ just made this really tough by giving me permission to be a shmuck...

Trying Russ, you saw the room though, it is 22X22' and the vaulted ceiling goes from 8'-12' and then the bar and entry way...

If I don't get her Ok first, I won't get to use my nuts for quite a while...

The 20-39PCi with the 17 Hz tuned port is quite rare. At the expense of a "slight" loss in maximum output above the tune point (as compared to a true 20-39PCi), that sub will get down to 13 Hz in most rooms.
