Disappointed 9500BT Weak Bass

Ok guys, we have the 3000, 6000, 9000 series soundbars. Just purchased two 9500BT soundbars at a great price. The 9000 series will literally destroy the 9500BT when it comes down to bass from the sub. Thought possibly defective sub, returned and they sent me another brand new system in the box. Same scenario, with the same specs as the 9000 series it's beyond me at what Polk did with this setup. We own 2 recording studios and I'm quite knowledgeable when it comes to this stuff. I'm not being picky comparing the soundbars, but when the 9000 will shake the house down and the 9500BT's don't even compare. Contacted Polk with no help or resolution, they wonder the same thing. Most of the specs are the same other than the 9500 has the bluetooth. Anyone else have this concern? At the point of sending both sets back for a refund.

Dskip that did cross my mind. I do have 60 days to return, it is literally insane at the difference. Being in the recording side I'm not like measuring a few DB's here or there, it is definitely a huge difference. Thanks for the fast response.
