    PS looks like a good deal as the newer versions start at like 250.....

    Seems like a common theme amongst these power cord makers is to offer an 'upgrade' from the original which typically touts more/better shielding which, from what I have read, can actually be detrimental to SQ in the first place :^ /
    I've had unshielded on my amp and preamp for quite a while, just on faith, but have recently also gone to unshielded on my DAC with positive results.

    I just picked up 2 Zu Event MK1 to try on my DAC and streamer. Got them on the zu eBay outlet for a steal. Come stock with watt gate evo connectors, I don’t see how these could be bad? Worth a try that’s for sure.

    Just be careful. A nice pair of Zu power cables acquired at a great price I honestly blame for accelerating my descent down the rabbit hole. First cable change to really open my ears to all the possibilities. I love and hate those guys at Zu.

    I got one off of ebay through zu. I am using it on my preamp. It is on par with the cullen cables I'm using on my dac and transport.
    Clear,fast, good bass, and accurate midrange.
