Appointment only and they probably do a credit and background check before they let you set one. :) I could probably look at that amp stand. ;)

Those speakers need the space as pictured to breathe and sound their best. Most rooms just don't have that space. I have heard them and they sound great!

I think that the space is wrong for them actually. The room being open to the left does not allow the side firing drivers to bounce off of anything. The soundstage must be horrible to that side.

You would think, but that isn't the case. The soundstage is pretty consistent from corner to corner of that room, even with the left side being open.

Nah, Jim realizes that there is a very small market for these particular items. But he still enjoys meeting people and showcasing them. He would be more than happy to take time for you even if you had no intention of purchasing anything.

I concur with Dan and Travis - Jim is a genuinely good guy, and is looking more to meet fellow hobbiests who enjoy audio than he is trying to sell gear. He realized that there weren’t many places to actually hear Bob’s current (pun) designs, hence his new endeavor. I hope to make the journey to meet him face to face in the future.
