greetings, ive been researching for a couple of days and cannot seem to find a replacement sub-bass inductor for my 3.1 tl's. aboutvto go through a massive rebuild and was wondering if i should just reuse the old one even though its not the original? plastic standoffs are non replaceable but are still intact and it has ferrous screws holding it in place. anywho, just wondering what my options are for doing it as correctly as humanly possible. thank you

Typically, inductors don't really need to be replaced. Unlike resistors and capacitors, there isn't really any spec drift over time.
When I did my 2.3TLs, I used Jantzen air core inductors and tried to match the original gauge and DCR as closely as possible. But more folks don't have a DCR meter on hand."Some people find it easier to be conceited rather than correct."

The 3.1tls won't really benefit from a replacement Sub-Base Drive Inductor. We normally replace them with an Inductor that has a lower DCR, to improve bass output from the dimensional woofers. Unlike the larger SRSs, and smaller SDAs with an equal number of stereo and dimensional woofers, the 3.1s only have a single dimensional woofer.Home Theater/2 Channel:
