You're barking up the right tree, but it's on the wrong coast. I could demo everything from a 4.6 up to an 11, then RTA 11 and 12b, CRS, and SRS-2 for you. I don't have any big boys though (yet).

Just looked at the frames on my Model 10 and you are both correct.
No idea why they would show the bare frames attached. They make the speakers look goofy!

From what I remember from my tour, the particular shape of the frame around the peerless tweets was there for defraction (sp) purposes.

A buddy dragged me to our local hifi shop in 1988 and had to show me the the klipsch corner horns he had put some money down against. We listened to those for a while and I remember they were something I could only handle for a short time before it became fatiguing to listen. While I was taking a break from listening and he was in deep conversation with the sales manager, I roamed around the shop and in one of the sound rooms were a pair of SDA SRS's playing. No one around so I went in and sat down. Life was about to change as I knew it. Still have all the literature and the speakers. I owned a small car at the time and luckily it was a 4 door. I had the sales manager wheel out one box and he just looked at the car and shook his head. I told him I will be back for the other speaker. Laid it down on the back seat, neither door would close and so we tied red rags to each door handle and with the emergency flashers going, off I went. I remember calling in to work for three days, that was how long it took to listen to my entire LP collection. My buddy doesn't remember what he did with the klipsch's. The SRS's are just getting broke in after a complete modding. Still going strong.Main System
