My plan is to use Loctite construction adhesive to attach the new side panels. For the end caps, I plan to use mechanical fasteners. Double ended studs, one with a wood screw end, the other end a regular thread. The wood screw end goes into the end cap, then drill through holes in the cabinet, and secure with nuts. So today after doing yard work, general cleanup outside, cleaning up the garage, and hooking up my new sub from @f1nut and @monepolk , I had some time this evening to work on my 1C's a bit.
I finished sealing up the cabinets finally!
It's not easy to get your arms inside the cabinet to apply the seal. A regular caulking gun is too big. And the loctite squeeze tubes are a bit unwieldy, as you have to hand squeeze the stuff out, while already being in a contorted state with your arms inside the cabinet!
I used the below for a majority of the sealing, after iterating on the above forms of locticte:
The beauty of this form is that it is pressurized, simply pull the trigger. That way, while still being contorted, you can apply the sealer pretty easily.
Afterwards you can smooth it out with your fingers. It's messy, I used plenty of pre-moistened wipes to clean my fingers after smoothing out a bead of this stuff.
Below is a shot of inside one of the cabinets.
Next step is continue with the cabinet re-finishing!

Missed a spot. Do around the braces. Not sure if it matters but I, being borderline obsessive compulsive...., Saw that as a potential vibration point. I also added dynomat at the center of the 4 drivers because on mine I heard some resonance when tapping around with my finger. Again may be unnecessary but my 1C's sound fabulous!
