    The story I heard was early production of this model had "too much midrange", Polk added the "pucks" to the mid drivers to slow them down and tame the mid range down a bit.
    Dodd - Battery Preamp
    Monarchy Audio SE100 Delux - mono power amps
    Sony DVP-NS999ES - SACD player
    ADS 1230 - Polk SDA 2B
    DIY Stereo Subwoofer towers w/(4) 12 drivers each
    Crown K1 - Subwoofer amp
    Outlaw ICBM - crossover
    Beringher BFD - sub eq

    Where is the remote? Where is the $%#$% remote!

    Yep, what Hoosier said and it was only the 2.3's, no other model.

    That ad gives me a cold vibe. Seems that the owner doesn't regard them too highly. Maybe its just the fact that they are down in the basement with the rest of the "junk".

    BTW, these are not 2.3tl's as the seller states at the end of his ad. They are not even the later version of the 2.3.

    Whoever buys these is going to be surprised to find out that they weigh substantially more than the 75 pounds stated in the ad.;)

    Happy bidding.

    I just picked up a set of 2.3TL's on Friday. They are fantastic speakers. Just make sure you have enough room for these things. I seriously underestimated the size of th 2.3's. These things are enormous!
    Receiver = Denon AVR-3803
    DVD = Denon DV-2900
    Fronts = SDA SRS 2.3TL's
    (Carver m1.5t)
    Center = CSi40
    Side surrounds = Fxi30's
    Sony 12" sub
    TV = Hitachi 57F500

    Bedroom rig:
    Pioneer SX-1050 receiver
    Rti38's

    True, provided they were not abused prior to being cast in the "junk" pile.

    Interesting solution... just reduced the output of the one MW I take it?

    Agree that they could be a deal given the setting and use as a stand for what looks like a Klipsch Heresey.

    Look at some of the other stuff the guy has listed... Krell, PSAudio, Rotel...
