Surroundbar 5000 changing sources and turning off

I have a Polk Surroundbar 5000. It will randomly change sources on me or turn off altogether with no rhyme or reason. This is while I am watching TV/Netflix/etc... It is connected directly to my TV with the provided optical cable.

Any suggestions? My wife is ready to throw it through the window.

This is happening to us too! The sound bar shuts off after 10 min. We have to turn it back on....its only 4 days old. I'm NOT happy!

Sorry there's a problem. Usually this type of problem can be corrected by working with Polk's CS department at: 1-800-377-7655 select option 1. It's a good idea to have the unit's serial number available when calling.

Remove Polk remote battery. If issue stops replace. My remote does random stuff on its own when battery gets low
