I know we have a few plumbers in the house.

There is only one path to the toilet bowl from the tank. Has to be there. With that amount leaking you should be able to see it on the side of the bowl. But I'm not that familiar with one piece toilets.
Quick search shows this might be helpful:

Should have known you're computer savvy enough to find that piece. Sorry, I think I'd be stumped also on this one. Can you replace the entire flapper assembly instead of just the flapper? Or that I what you'd already tried?Music: Oppo103 - Parasound JC2 - Parasound A21- SDA 3.1

Does this toilet use the plastic piece that goes on a 3/8 ratchet to secure the valve?
Did you over tighten it?
Can you take a pic of the......tank. -

Yes it does, and no I didn't over-tighten it, as far as I know.
There's only a single thread on the lower plastic part that's embedded in the rubber seal, that gets drawn up when you tighten the sleeve. If you over-tighten, you'll bust that single thread.Home Theater/2 Channel:

Did it leak after you changed the insides, or was it leaking prior as well?

Hey, at least those grounded receptacles pass the 1977 NEC. -

I changed the flush valve because it was leaking. It's still leaking with the new valveHome Theater/2 Channel:

I'll second/third/fourth/... the two best suggestions:
1. Flexseal
2. If that doesn't work, new terlit. -
I do remember, years ago (and fwiw) in some past life, we had a situation where the flapper valve seat was the root cause for the leak. I bought some sort of repair kit that included a liner that fit down into the seat, and sealed water-tight somehow, such that the end result was a new flapper valve and seat. Dunno if such things are still available or if it might be appropriate for the current situation -- but given that this thread's still (ahem) running, I thought I'd mention it.
I guess the other thing I'd mention is -- do "we" know if all of the replacement parts are "good"? You know, replacement parts these days aren't always of the highest imaginable quality... just another thought.
-
I bought a repair kit once, the flapper was poorly made. I swapped it for a fluidmaster flapper, and it worked perfectly.
One thing I also did once in another toilet, was remove any parts of the flapper that secure it to the fill tube, just use the two rubber tabs to hinge it to the tube.
Some flappers seem to have an elaborate hinge mechanism, with plastic inserts....I just toss those and use the soft rubber tabs to secure to the posts. -
The flapper and seat are perfectly smooth. I'm going to try some sealer where the new valve meet the ceramic. If that doesn't work, out in the trashHome Theater/2 Channel:
