a few months ago my psw125 started emitting low "heartbeat" noises even when no input is plugged. i've ignored this but now the sub started making weird noises or not at all. how can i fix this?

Hello,
From your description it is likely that a problem has developed with your unit's bass amplifier. Give Polk CS a call at: 1-800-377-7655 select option 1 and they'll need the serial number and date/place of purchase.

this is a fire hazard. reminder - this is the replaced amp i've received from you. it was supposed to not have a problem, not almost set my house on fire.
