I enjoyed it quite a bit. McGregor was ahead in my book till the 6th. Mayweather owned it after that, but McGregor has nothing to be ashamed of, handled himself well. If it were reversed, there would be an opposite outcome. Just my opinion.Home Theater/2 Channel:

I don't think anyone would disagree that a boxer wouldn't last long in the world of ultimate fighting.
That said, sure looked to me like Mayweather was told to make it last that long. He was playing patty cake with the guy for at least the first 5 rounds. McGregor may not be used to the added weight of the gloves and he started getting tired mid way. Gloves don't weigh all that much, but it takes it's toll when you throw a lot of punches and move your arms around like his style dictates. Plus he's not used to going that length of time in a fight.
After he ran out of gas, Mayweather had nothing to fear from his punches and just started to box his ears off. I'm shocked it went 10 rounds though, but I have a feeling they were told to make it a show.HT SYSTEM-

You have to give Conor a lot of credit, he started training for this boxing only match in January, so a total of 8 months, and managed to hold out for 10 rounds against a guy that has been boxing his whole life. It was a good fight, and it was obvious Floyd was dancing around early on to tire him out.

Not to mention the MMA logic when it comes to rounds is to start hard and taper off towards the end (if not finish), which is the opposite with how Mayweather fights.
I feel like McGregor represented the MMA world fantastically, worth the $100 as long as you didn't have streaming issues!
