one of the bottom corners has a ding on it, maybe 1.5" long... slight split in the MDF. should i be concerned about that at all? is it just cosmetic?

it had been registered. is there a point in re-registering the speaker? is it even possible?

It shouldn't be an issue, as long as it isn't a hold all the way through, which is hard to imagine...

No point in re-registering it, as the warranty isn't valid...but you should never need it...

You could touch up the crevice with wood epoxy/filler, and when it's dry, touch it up with a black "Sharpie".
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
