Oppo BDP-103 For Sale

I have the original remote, wifi dongle and power cord but the original box and bag are long gone as I had no intention of getting rid of this.
But I have upgraded to a 4K player and as much as I wanted to keep it for my office setup, I can't justify it with the vast majority of my media available via streaming.
Condition is a solid 8/10 (conservatively rated). Hours I don't really know but it was used sporadically over the years that I owned it as most of my BD media was ripped to a media server. But every once in a while I would get the itch to spin a disc.

My asking price is $300/obo shipped to the lower 48. I would prefer not to ship to Canada or Alaska or Hawaii but would be willing to negotiate on shipping if someone there wanted it.
Payment preference is Paypal.

Long time Polkie Friends get a 6ft Audioquest Forest HDMI cable with purchase.

Thanks.

Sumbeech! This is a very nice deal. If I didn't already have one (paid a bit more for it too), I'd be all over it.

Ryan priced this to MOVE with a bonus too. This wasn't 'blessed' by any of Russ' body parts, was it? That'd be icing on the cake... :D

Thank you, I'm looking forward to stepping up a notch into Blu Ray territory, and getting rid of a few ICs!

I'll be able to get rid of my RGB cables from the tv to dvd player, as well as one set of ICs from DVD to my Sunfire.

This upgrade might just be enough to satisfy me depending on performance, since I've also been contemplating upgrading my Sunfire as well to take advantage of HDMI connections.

But I've been out of the loop as far as processors go. The only hard requirement is that it has to have 2 sub connectors which my Sunfire has, and most only have one.

Plus I would hate to break up my matching pro/amp combo.

Hey Cathy, many of the AV receivers and processors today have dual sub outputs, even many showing up on the pre-experienced market have dual sub outs.

My new to me Oppo has arrived and now playing. Ryan packed it to survive a neuclear explosion.

I got it hooked up to the internet so that I can watch Netflix through it, and getting it through all my speakers once again rather than through the crappy tv speakers!

Thank you Ryan for such an easy transaction.

Now all I have to do is start buying Blurays so that I can utilize that feature. :)

    I spoke too soon!

I noticed that when playing my SACDs that voices coming out of the CC were very weak, and even worse for my DVDa's.

When I truly decided to listen to Netflix, same problem, could hear all the music but the dialog was non existent.

I have the HDMI going from the player to the TV, with the ICs going from the player to the Sunfire as well as the optical going from the player to the Sunfire.

I checked the settings and made sure the player is set to 5.1, HDMI is set to auto detect.

The only way I am able to get dialog is if I down mix the setting to RT/LT all. Then I have to crank the volume to hear that.

I'm obviously missing something in the settings.

I would appreciate some help here fellas! Thanks.
