Can't control soundbar with remote

    Welcome, Elise. Are you trying to use the remote that came with the soundbar or another remote?

    Usually the Polk is programmed to respond to your TV's remote, so you might want to check the setting on the Dish remote to make sure it's set to TV. Usually there's a set of buttons at the top of the remote that control what the remote is trying to control. So, if you are turning the volume up as you push the volume up button one of the buttons labelled "TV" will blink, indicating that it is sending out a TV control signal. This is what you want, the Polk will respond to TV instructions from the Dish remote.
