I have a DBS 1 sound bar that I purchased from dish they set it up , they left no instruction booklet , my question is when we watch a DVD why does it blast the music but the audio for speech is low?

Welcome to the forum. Just so I understand your question, are saying that the music part of the DVD soundtrack is very loud, but the dialogue of the DVD is not as loud?
