    The P5 also allows a H/T bypass for 2 channel and sub(s) and gives you control over the subs as well.

    I don't use the DAC in the P5 though I bring the Bluesound Node2 into the Marantz SA8004 and use it's DAC.

    The P5 is a tank at a great price point and there are usually a lot of used one's to choose from or "B" stocks are some times available from Safe and Sound or Audio Advisors.
