Upon reflection would this be a stereo pair or a monster pair of monoblocks? If monoblocks could they be jumpered to make them common ground?

How would one go about integrating the isolation transformer to get the full SDA effect?

How would one go about integrating the isolation transformer to get the full SDA effect?

You would first need to register them with the EPA and pay the carbon offset tax, and then the public utilities commission would need to inspect them before you could bring them on line. They may also need to be registered as potential weapons with local law enforcement, but that varies by jurisdiction.

With the silicone that must have been involved don't forget the hazmat fees.

Here's my 2 little dabs of silicone fwiw...... :) when I first came here many years ago I also butted heads with F1nut. I had posted pics and descriptions of my 2.3s and crossovers which Jesse (much to my dismay at the time) critiqued. My tender sensibilities were highly offended and I was not happy to have it pointed out that I was doing and had done things completely wrong (which I was). Yes I even made it to Jesse's bozo list lol. But things have changed over the years as I listened to and took his advice and used his vast knowledge of all things Polk. Now because of that my rig has become something I could only dream about in the past. So that being said I'd like to issue a public apology to F1nut from those early years and thank him kindly for the sage advice he's given me along my journey. I could not have achieved what I have now if it wasn't for you Jesse.

I'm thinking possibly this advice could be used by a certain trio but more than likely won't. Afterall most of us are here to better or at least talk about our Polk rigs and not worry about how someone comes across. One thing that cannot be argued or overlooked is Jesse knows exactly what he's talking about.

Good point Motor, and thanks for sharing that. The membership here, or at any forum is full of different personalities which is hard to decipher over the internet, especially for newbs. Over time, you become more acclimated to these personalities and it becomes easier to converse with everyone without getting butthurt. Dare I say, you may even find commonality, make friends, learn a few things along the way. Heaven knows, nobody wants to do any of those things though, right ? lol

I'm not even sure I've got any MW6501's in the house, I remember all the SDA MWs were 6500s when I tore them apart for ring installation...not sure what my Monitor 5s have in them off memory, could be 6501s as they are really old ('79).

I don't know shiite about it either, just googled Gimpod's website...to make me look smart :)
