Sound Delay

Hi I just purchased the Polk MagniFi Mini. I am using the optical output. When I change channels it takes around 5 seconds before the sound comes on. Any thoughts as to why

My guess would be it has something to do with the optical out and not the Mini itself. Have you ever used the optical out before?

No I have not used the optical output before. Strangely enough it does not do it all of the time but most of the time.

Are you using the optical out of a cable/satellite box or the TV?

I am using the optical out of the TV. The TV is the Samsung KS 8000
  • What are the choices offered by your TV for digital sound output?
