Classic Monitor 5 - new tweeters ?

Hello,
Are the RDO194-1 tweeters a direct drop in replacement for the original fish eye tweeters in the Monitor 5's ?
If so, are they in stock and what is cost for a pair.
I was given the Monitor 5's for free when I got a pair of used PSB T-6 towers. He wanted to clear out some room in his house !
These speakers blow me away. How Sandy Gross and crew got a simple 2 way box speaker made with particle board and a passive radiator to sound so good is a marvel. I'm using them on the back porch and with only fly screening around them with no walls to make secondary reflections they disappear and the imaging is first rate.
I assume they will sound even better with the new tweeters, correct ? What improvements can I expect in the trebble with the 194 tweeters ?
I also found on the forum plans for the parts needed to upgrade the crossovers with new audiophile caps and resistors. In your opinion is that really needed to realize how much improvement in sound for the labor and parts cost needed ?
Thanks for the answers !

Yes if you tweeter is SL2000 then RD-0194 is the correct tweeter. If your tweeter has a foam ring around the diaphragm then its a different tweeter.

A picture of the tweeter in question would be good.
Definite identification that way. -
I'm pretty sure they are 2000's.
I'll hopefully post a photo tomorrow.
Thanks guys. -
I hope I got the photo posted here.
Isn't this the sl-2000 fish eye ? Is the RDO -194-1 a drop in replacement for this tweeter ?
Thanks

Ok, thanks everyone for the help.
For now I'll drop in 194's. I can always upgrade the xovers later.
