    I was filtering through Tidal to make a playlist and was reminded how she worked with all the greats....all the way to the end.

    Probably the hardest working and most respected person in the biz, and a heavenly soul in life.

    Thanks, there's a few to the left that wouldn't fit into the frame. The "songbook" recordings are not to be missed and if you want to judge a system's naturalness with female vocal, her recordings are ideal. According to most jazz writers her perfect pitch and exquisite diction were unmatched and to think she auditioned first as a dancer not a singer! Most musicians had to watch their manners and language when working with her, she was a stickler for being treated like a lady, not "one of the boys".
